Ethiopian Airways’s A350 aircraft lands in Abuja.
Ethiopian Airways has shown commitment to the Nigerian market by being the first commercial aircraft to land in Abuja six weeks after the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport was closed for repairs.
The aircraft touched down at noon today amid fanfare, signalling the commencement of flight operations to the city.
The airline was the sole international airline that offered to relocate its Abuja flights to Kaduna while airlines like Lufthansa, BA, KLM, and many others declined the move, citing logistics.
The airline has endeared itself to the Federal Government for its support for the country.
